Server / Bartender / Beverage Cart Attendants

The Hawk, Diamond Hawk Golf Course’s bar / restaurant & banquet facility, is looking to add bartenders to our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a fun environment with great networking and tips.

Responsibilities will be split amongst bartender, food server and beverage cart attendant duties.

Position Responsibilities

  • Interacting with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, serving them food and drinks, processing payments, and supplying them with whatever they need in a timely fashion.
  • Being adaptable to work in multiple areas of food & beverage.
  • Handling multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and clearing tables and bar. Cleaning bar, glasses and utensils.
  • Learning the menu and beverages served such as wine, beer, and cocktails.
  • Checking identification to ensure customers are of proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
  • Stock, drive and serve from a beverage cart on the golf course as needed.
  • Work food stand and banquets / events as needed.
  • Build rapport with customers to create a positive and fun atmosphere.

Position Requirements

  • Previous food & beverage experience helpful.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • General math skills – requires ability to accurately make change from cash transactions and ability to balance transactions at the end of shift.
  • Must be able to learn POS system in a quick manner and use the system properly.
  • Self‐starter, self‐motivated, adaptable, able to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dress according to dress code requirements, remaining neat, clean, and professional at all times.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with guests and co‐workers.
  • Requires the ability to safely lift and maneuver trays of food and other items.
  • Requires some bending, stretching, and lifting.
  • Must be able to stand and work during an entire work shift.
